Saudi Mobile Telecommunications Company, more commonly known by its brand identity 'Zain KSA', is a publicly listed company, operating in the telecom sector of Saudi Arabia. Headquartered in Riyadh, Zain KSA carries out purchases, delivers, installs, operates, manages, and maintains mobile telephone services. Apart from mobile network communication, Zain KSA also offers fixed line and internet services in the kingdom. It offers postpaid and prepaid voice plans, Hajj and Umrah packages; 4G Internet services and 4G devices; mobile devices; calling, messaging, electronic services, applications, and rewards program; roaming services; and business solutions. Zain KSA is a branch of an international telecom conglomerate, Zain Group, which is headquartered in Kuwait and has a presence in 8 countries across the Middle East. Zain KSA was formed in 2007 as a joint stock company, and it was the 3rd entrant in the telecom sector of the kingdom. The company was formally registered in 2008 and paid $ 6.1 billion for a license to operate in Saudi Arabia for the next 25 years. From 2008, the company launched its mobile services and in the same year it was converted into a publicly listed company which began trading on the Saudi Stock Exchange.
