Tradeline Securities will be able to carry out trades as a registered brokerage at the Bahrain Bourse (BHB) from today, it was announced yesterday.
In a statement, BHB said the firm had completed the requirements to be a brokerage company.
Tradeline Securities is a Bahraini licensed brokerage that will provide all brokerage services to its clients in addition to trading in securities listed at BHB for the account of its clients and their account.
BHB chief executive Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa said brokers are one of the main catalysts in developing the capital markets sector.
He also said that BHB is committed to undertake all the required procedures to provide the infrastructure that will enable related parties to interact in a fair and transparent manner.
“The bourse’s management will continue its co-operation with related parties, especially brokers, to carry out the possible actions that will develop all work aspects at the bourse in a way that will benefit everyone,” Shaikh Khalifa said, wishing Tradeline success in all of its activities.
With the joining of Tradeline as a brokerage company, the number of registered brokers at the bourse has
increased to 13.
