Chinese crude oil consumption to grow in 2011 by 7pct

Reuters quoted data from the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation showed that China crude oil consumption is projected to grow 6.6% in 2011 down from a 13.1% pace in 2010.

But the federation said natural gas consumption would continue to grow at a fast pace of about 15.0% down slightly from 15.9% in 2010. It said 2011 crude oil output would grow about 4.0% in 2011.
