DFM Index Shows Flat Performance in the Early Trade

The DFM General Index wavering between north and south showed a flat performance during the first couple of hours trading on Wednesday 29th Jan 2014, as the DFM index retreated to 3,805.61 levels.

The market breadth was favorable with advance – decline ratio of 1.5:1.

Transportation sectors showed a growth of 1.59 percent. Investment & Financial Services and Insurance sectors followed it with 0.98 percent and 0.54 percent respectively.

Al Salam Sudan topped the chart of gainers’, adding 9.7 percent. The Public Warehousing Company, on the other hand, dropped 9.23 percent.
