Emirates Post has issued commemorative stamps to celebrate the short-listing of UAE's Bu Tinah Island in the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The stamps are available at all main post offices.

Located off the coast of Abu Dhabi, Bu Tinah island is a protected marine biosphere where nature is respected and allowed to flourish.

"It's through the protection of Bu Tinah's unique environment and conservation of its habitat that this important ecosystem has thrived. Valuable insight has been gained from the islands to help develop solutions for threatening environmental issues," said Ibrahim Bin Karam, Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates Post Group. "We are delighted to celebrate the global recognition of these islands through these beautiful stamps."

Bu Tinah Island is a natural treasure of the UAE and the only finalist from the Arabian Gulf in the New 7 Wonders of Nature competition, making it a source of pride throughout the region.

The stamps are part of Emirates Post's efforts to support preservation of the natural environment of Bu Tinah Island. The commemorative stamps have been issued in 10 varieties, along with a distinctive souvenir sheet.
