Kingdom Holding Company’s (KHC) Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh was awarded “Best Business Hotel 2011” in Riyadh at the Business Traveller Awards ceremony that took place in Dubai. The Business Traveller’s prestigious awards were exclusively based on votes by the readers of the magazine for three consecutive Years.
The annual event is widely recognized as the region’s premier awards ceremony for the travel and hospitality industry, recognizing exceptional levels of quality and service by travel providers across the Middle East.
Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, chairman of KHC, said: “This is another important achievement for Kingdom Holding Company.”
The renovation of the hotel had recently been completed. The renovation included the hotel and its amenities. The hotel continues to be the best hotel in Riyadh. Prince Alwaleed and Talal Almaiman, executive director for Development and Domestic Investments, with Rami Sayess, general manager of FS Riyadh and management toured the hotel following the completion of its renovation.
The 249-room luxury hotel is situated in the upscale and visually distinctive Kingdom Centre, and offers spacious guestrooms, plus 32 suites and 20 long-stay residential suites. All the accommodation is light and airy, and the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh’s elevated location ensures that every room offers spectacular views over the Saudi capital.
Located close to the key sites for commerce, as well as arts, culture and shopping, the hotel offers discerning travelers an ideal base from which to explore, whether they are visiting on business or for leisure.
The Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh is under the management of Four Seasons in which Kingdom Holding holds a 47.5 percent stake and is co-owned by Bill Gates’ Cascade in which the company also holds a 47.5 percent stake, and 5 percent of the Four Seasons is owned by Isadore Sharp.
The Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh was ranked the Best Business Hotel 2010 and the Best Hotel in Riyadh 2009 according to Business Traveller Magazine at “The Business Traveller Awards 2009 and 2010” ceremony during Arabian Travel Market Conference in Dubai. The Business Traveller’s prestigious awards were exclusively based on votes by the readers of the magazine.
