Share prices on Bursa Malaysia ended broadly lower today with the market dragged down by losses registered mainly in heavyweight counters, including PLUS Expressways Bhd, said a dealer.
At close, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) slipped 9.61 points to 1,480.7. It had opened higher by 1.37 points at 1,491.23.
"Continous losses in most heavyweight counters across the board, offset gains in the plantation related stocks," said a dealer.
OSK Research said the market barometer's resistance level was still at the psychological 1,500-mark, followed by 1,524.69.
