Zain Bahrain and Shamil Bank have signed an agreement to offer Shamil customers online facilities to enquire and pay, in real-time, their Zain accounts.

The agreement will enable Shamil customers to pay their bills or top up their prepaid accounts in real-time from the comfort of their home or office, or even while they are travelling overseas via Shamil Online Banking Services www.shamilbank.net.

Bank retail banking assistant general manager Mohammed Janahi and Zain commercial support director Linda Al Jamea signed the agreement.

"Zain is very pleased to enter into this agreement with Shamil Bank. This is part of Zain Bahrain's efforts to continuously integrate new services and conveniences into our mobile services and reflect our customers' approach to multi-dimensional mobile telecommunications use," Ms Al Jamea said.

"The bank is an integral part of the Bahraini business community and we are proud to work in conjunction with them to add the convenience of our services to our customers," she said.

Mr Janahi said Shamil is committed to adding convenience to everyday banking needs of customers.

"Through this exciting partnership with Zain, we have further broadened the range of services we offer customers. This latest addition comes in line with our long-standing commitment to continuously improve our services," he said.
