Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) was honoured with the RoSPA President's Award during the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Safety Summit 2025.
The event was held in partnership with the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) on September 24 at the JW Marriott Hotel Marina, Dubai.
This prestigious accolade - first announced in May 2025 - marks Alba's third consecutive year of receiving the President's Award, reflects Alba's unwavering commitment to occupational safety, health excellence, and the well-being of its people.
Alba's Chief Executive Officer, Ali Al Baqali, accepted the award from RoSPA's CEO Becky Hickman, leading the company's high-level delegation to the summit. As part of the event, Alba's Director of Safety and Health, Mohammed Khalil, delivered a presentation on Alba's proactive approach to summer operations, highlighting the Company's achievement of zero heat-related illnesses over multiple consecutive years - a clear reflection of Alba's leadership in safety excellence.
