MEBO Scar ointment was developed specifically by Julphar for the treatment of scars both old and new, and is used to restore the health of traumatized skin. Initially introduced to healthcare professionals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) last month with a series of education seminars held in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, it has also now been launched in Lebanon and the UAE.

Professor Chen Yongchen, the Clinical Director of China National & Technology Centre for Burns, Wounds and Ulcers and Dr Shu Ye, Product Instructor/Technical Support Manager travelled from China to be part of the launch initiative.

Addressing specialist physicians across the region Dr She Yu said, "MEBO Scar is made of pure, natural components which ensure sufficient elasticity and strength of the scar tissue, achieving optimum cosmetic results". Professor Chen Yongchen added, "The launch of Mebo Scar will help Dermatologists, Plastic Surgeons, Gynecologists and other Physicians, in the treatment and restoration of scars."

Cosmetic scar therapy is a lucrative business worldwide and MEBO Scar follows the success of MEBO, a widely distributed wound healing product. The release of MEBO Scar will help patients with both functional and cosmetic problems caused by scarring and improve their quality of life.
