Total assets of Islamic banks and windows combined amounted to approximately OMR9.1 billion by the end of July 2025, representing 19.7 percent of the total assets of the banking sector in the Sultanate of Oman, up by 16.8 percent compared to the same period last year. Statistics issued by the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) indicate that the total financing granted by Islamic banks and windows increased by 12.5 percent, reaching OMR7.2 billion by the end of July. Deposits at Islamic banks and windows also increased by 16.1 percent, reaching approximately OMR7.2 billion by the end of July 2025.
