Qatar Stock Exchange's (QSE) benchmark index gained 35.04 points, or 0.39 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 9,030.16 points, yesterday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 5.51 million from 8.27 million on Monday and the value of shares also decreased QR165.12m from QR337.73m on Monday. Out of the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 36 saw trading yesterday. Of these 24 gained; 11 companies closed lower ; and one remained unchanged. Indices of five sectors ended in green and remained two sectors ended in red today.
QSE Total Return Index gained 0.39 to 15,143.04 points, reports QNA. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index added 0.49 percent to 3.575.00 points and QSE All Share Index increased 0.48 percent to 2,567.81 points.
