Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index rose at the beginning of Sunday's trading by 0.57%, gaining 60.70 points to reach 10,668 points, compared to the previous session's close, backed by six sectors.
Market data showed gains in Telecoms by 1.82%, followed by Insurance (+1.37%), Banks and Financial Services (+0.75%), Consumer Goods and Services (+0.64%), Industrials (+0.27%), and Real Estate (+0.04%). Meanwhile, Transportation declined by 0.16%.
By 10:00 am, QSE reported a turnover of QR 54.605 million from 16.960 million shares traded in 2,965 transactions.
