Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Building & Construction sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050), which rose 10.00% or 2.60 points to trade at 28.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) added 9.94% or 0.81 points to end at 8.96 and Middle East Specialized Cables Co (SE:2370) was up 8.56% or 0.56 points to 7.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which fell 9.94% or 2.42 points to trade at 21.92 at the close. Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) declined 6.71% or 1.54 points to end at 21.40 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250) was down 2.50% or 0.52 points to 20.32.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 130 to 42 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.94% or 2.42 to 21.92. Shares in Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.94% or 0.81 to 8.96. Shares in Saudi Ceramic Co. (SE:2040) fell to 5-year lows; losing 6.71% or 1.54 to 21.40.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.04% or 0.02 to $56.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.17% or 0.11 to hit $63.38 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.33% or 4.23 to trade at $1287.93 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.30% to 4.3617, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7499.
