Activities
Northern Region Cement Company is a key player in the cement manufacturing industry in Saudi Arabia. The Northern Region Cement Company was established in 2006 AD, with a capital of SR 1.2 billion, and production began in the first half of 2008 AD. In 2011, the company decided to increase the capital by an amount of SR 600 million to become SR 1.8 billion, the Northern Region Cement Company is considered the first industrial project in the Northern Border Region. It is worth noting that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, inaugurated the project to establish the company's factory during his visit to the Northern Border Region and supervised His Highness, Prince of the Northern Border Region, Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, laid the foundation stone. Northern Region Cement produces a variety of cement types, including Ordinary Portland Cement, Sulfate-Resistant Cement, Oil Well Cement, White Portland Cement. Northern Region Cement is publicly traded on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) and has a market capitalization of approximately USD 424 million as of August 2024. The company plays a significant role in the construction sector in Saudi Arabia, providing essential materials for infrastructure projects. Its products are crucial for various large-scale developments, ensuring durability and resilience in challenging environments.
