e& UAE has rolled out the region's first commercial 5G network slicing service, offering tailored connectivity to business customers via its advanced standalone 5G network.

The launch marks a significant move by e& to deliver customised, ultra-reliable 5G performance to industries with critical operational needs-such as manufacturing, public safety, and logistics.

The 5G slicing technology allows e& to divide its public 5G infrastructure into multiple virtual networks-or "slices"-each with dedicated resources. This ensures that enterprise customers receive guaranteed connectivity performance, even when the broader network is under high demand.

"By introducing 5G network slicing, e& UAE is delivering on its commitment to build innovative connectivity solutions that enable digital transformation across sectors," said Oscar Garcia, Senior Vice President, Business Marketing and Product Innovation, e& UAE.

Through this offering, businesses can now access:

Bandwidth-based slicing plans tailored to specific industry requirements

A dedicated industrial 5G Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) for reliable, secure on-site access

Performance isolation from other network traffic, ensuring uninterrupted service

While the physical network is shared, the traffic and data for each slice are kept separate. This approach allows companies to run essential applications-such as IoT systems or low-latency controls-without risking service interruptions or slowdowns.

e& UAE said the solution bridges the gap between standard public 5G services and fully private 5G networks, offering a cost-effective alternative with many of the same benefits.

With this launch, e& UAE becomes the first operator in the region to introduce a commercial 5G slicing solution with predefined plans-underscoring the UAE's push to stay ahead in digital infrastructure and industrial connectivity.
