Green Crescent Insurance Company, also known as AXA Green Crescent, is a public joint stock company operating in UAE and providing tailored life insurance & medical insurance plans to retail and commercial customers. AXA Green crescent is a joint collaboration between AXA Group, Kanoo Group and Green Crescent Insurance Company. The company was launched in 2008 as a sole public joint stock entity but substantial investment from the AXA group in 2015 resulted in a name change as well as a broadening of its insurance network. The company was formerly known as Green Crescent Insurance Company and changed its name to AXA Green Crescent Insurance Company. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the company has a regional office in Dubai as well. For individual customers, AXA Green Crescent offers domestic helpers protection plan and smart life plan insurance. Corporate customers are offered group medical plans with coverage options of UAE, regional coverage, international coverage and global coverage. SME plans are especially designed by AXA Green for small to medium level businesses that are looking to offer a comprehensive medical plan to their employees. Group life and disability plan for corporate customers is also a major product with various coverage options from the company.
