Al-Etihad Cooperative Insurance Company is a publicly listed company incorporated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It was established as a cooperative insurance company through a Ministry Council Resolution and a Royal Decree. The company's paid-up capital amounts to SAR 500 million. Al-Etihad traces its roots back to Trade Union Co., which was founded in 1983 in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Initially, Trade Union Co. operated as an offshore company, facilitating insurance business in Saudi Arabia. In 2008, Al-Etihad transformed into a public company and was subsequently listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on September 2, 2008.

Al-Etihad is authorized to offer various classes of insurance, including: general insurance, medical insurance, motor insurance, protection and savings insurance, etc. Al-Etihad's commitment to serving clients has positioned it as a leader in providing tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of its growing client base.
