Activities
The National Bank of Oman (NBO) was established in 1973 as the first incorporated bank in the Sultanate of Oman. Initially founded as a joint-stock company, NBO has grown to offer both conventional and Islamic banking services. Over the years, the bank has expanded its services and operations, becoming a significant player in Oman's financial sector.
NBO operates through five main segments: retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking, treasury and international banking, and Islamic banking. The bank is committed to providing high-quality financial solutions and maintaining a customer-centric approach. NBO has a substantial presence across Oman, with 61 branches nationwide. Additionally, the bank boasts one of the largest ATM networks in the country, with over 169 ATMs available for customer use.
NBO continues to be a trusted partner for individuals, small businesses, and corporations, offering a wide range of financial products and services to meet the diverse needs of its customers.
