The Kuwaiti dinar was traded at 0.281 fils against the US dollar on Monday while its rate against the euro was 0.369 fils.

The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) said on its website that the rate of the national currency stood at 0.436 fils against the sterling, 0.003 fils against the yen and was 0.290 against the Swiss franc.

The euro slipped against the US dollar in today's trades to hit its lowest levels in two weeks. It also decreased against the yen as a result of fears following setbacks that might face liquidity injections in European countries.

The euro's drop was also an outcome of credit rating companies lowering credit ratings for some European countries.
