In line with the Bank’s vision of strategic expansion in the most dynamic and distinctive areas of Kuwait, the Bank established a new branch in the Shuhada region to provide the best pioneering Shari’ah-compliant banking services and solutions that are specifically designed to meet the needs of the bank’s customers.

The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by HE retired General/Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah (Governor of Hawalli), Shaheen Hamad Al-Ghanim (the bank’s Chief Executive Officer) as well as a large number of local dignitaries of the Shuhada region and a number of the bank’s senior officials. With the inauguration of this new branch, Warba Bank now has 11 branches throughout Kuwait allowing it to reach as many customers as possible.

The new branch is characterized by its wide area and distinctive designs that are in line with the vision of the bank. It is equipped with the latest amenities and technology providing its diverse customers with a distinctive, high-class banking experience.

The new branch provides all banking services using high technology, based on its five-year strategic plan to develop the bank’s technical structure and to design banking tools that cope with technological developments, adding high value to the bank’s branches. Warba Bank also offers its clients with special needs a great deal of care and attention.

It offers them a range of banking services, including opening accounts, issuing bank cards and personal finance solutions. Moreover, the staff at the new branch has been trained on sign language for hearing impaired and printing Braille contracts for the blind. Furthermore, the new branch provides them with special entry platforms to facilitate their access to the branch.

In addition, it includes a special needs ATM in order to provide them with more convenience and speed when conducting cash withdrawals. The bank also pays attention to its female clients and it has created a female-only section within the new branch in order to provide women with more privacy while performing their banking transactions.

The highly professional bank staff will provide all its various Shari’ah-compliant services and products to all its customers, including: opening savings accounts, current accounts, personal finance services, and transfers, just to name a few. Priority will be given to Al-Safwa Account customers in completing all transactions as a bank employee has been dedicated primarily for those clients. To confirm Warba Bank’s expansion plan, Shaheen Hamad Al Ghanim said, ”the bank management has taken the decision to open the Shuhada region branch as a strategic step to serve the bank’s customers wherever they are, and to strengthen its local branch network by opening more branches in different areas of Kuwait. This enhances our presence in the Islamic banking sector in the Kuwaiti market, and enables us to expand our clientele and attract more customers.”

“Thanks to its structure and services, the Shuhada branch represents the new model that Warba Bank plans to adopt in other existing and future branches to be established in the framework of our five-year expansion plan. We will offer a unique model that provides convenience and an integrated banking experience for our customers so as to meet their expectations and help them carry out their transactions smoothly,” Al- Ghanim added. The opening of the new branch is a complementary step to the bank’s strategic plans, which are constantly striving to improve the level of banking and financial services offered to customers and to develop them according to the highest standards. That the new branch is located in Block 4, next to Shuhada Cooperative Society.
