Al Taameer Real Estate Investment Company was established in 1978 as a closed Kuwaiti shareholding company. Taameer is based in Kuwait City (Kuwait) and is listed on the Boursa Kuwait since December 2005. The company engages primarily in owning and trading securities and bonds of real estate companies, it operates and manages projects as per international standards, and provides consultancy services in the field of real estate. It is also involved in various direct investments, but its primary investments have been in the hospitality sector in the MENA region. The company currently maintains a diverse range of operational projects under development, in the MENA region. Currently, their portfolio consists of 6 operational projects and 5 projects under development. It also deals in owning, renting, managing, and investing in hotels, cafeterias, restaurants, parks, shopping malls, resorts, housing complexes, etc. It offers various services such as management services, technical assistance, and franchise services. The major projects of the company include: Al Corniche Club, Amaia Residence in Kuwait, Ramada Downtown in Beirut, and Ramada Fes in Fes. It has 11 subsidiaries operating across Kuwait, Egypt, Morocco and Lebanon. Taameer's fully owned subsidiaries include: Al Massaleh for Real Estate Investment, Taameer Hospitality for Hotel Management-Egypt, Boulevard Hotel Co., Al Tameer Hospitality-Morocco, and Sezva International Restaurant, among others.
