Activities
Union Properties was established on October 28, 1993, as a public joint stock company by a decree from the UAE Minister. The Company's main activities include investing in and developing properties, managing and maintaining its own properties (including operating cold stores), providing property-related services for other parties (including related parties), acting as the holding company for its subsidiaries, and investing in joint ventures. The company has significantly influenced the UAE's real estate landscape with its diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, industrial, and leisure projects. The Company's business and investment activities in land, properties, securities, and financial derivatives are conducted within the UAE. The company and its subsidiaries does not have substantial foreign currency exposure related to land, properties, securities, and financial derivatives. Union Properties operates through four main segments: real estate property management (management and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial properties), contracting activities (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works for building projects), investing activities (strategic investments in various sectors), sales of goods and services (sale of goods and services related to real estate). Union Properties has developed several landmark projects in Dubai, including MotorCity, Uptown Mirdif, Green Community, Limestone House, Index Tower. Union Properties is dedicated to delivering high-quality real estate projects that meet customer needs and contribute to the UAE's development. The company values innovation, sustainability, and excellence in all its operations. In 2023, Union Properties reported a revenue of AED 508.01 million, a 21.19% increase from the previous year. The company also achieved a net income of AED 837.62 million, reflecting significant financial improvement. Union Properties aims to continue growing by expanding its project portfolio and exploring new investment opportunities. The company focuses on enhancing its market presence and delivering value to its shareholders.
