Gulf Finance House (GFH) was established on 16thOctober 1999in Bahrain, and is a key contributor in the development of regional Islamic financial institutions and infrastructure projects across the Middle East. GFH is committed to the Islamic Sharia philosophy of wealth management and a broad-based and has a well-defined portfolio of investments spread across three continents: Asia, Europe and Africa. Its shares are listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, the Bahraini Stock Exchange, the Dubai Financial Market (where it is one of the most liquid and actively traded stocks) and on the London Stock Exchange in the form of a GDR. It operates through four segments: Real Estate Development, Private Equity, Asset Management, and Commercial Banking. It has been widely recognized by several industry stakeholders for its state-of-the-art approach, investment practicality and overall accomplishments in Islamic finance, investment banking and wealth management. The company also buys, sells, rents, and constructsincome generating properties; and offers hospitality management and educational services, along withoperating amusement and theme parks. GFH operates in the GCC countries, the MENA region, the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, etc. too. It is also responsible for the creation of top Middle Eastern financial institutions like QInvest, First Energy Bank, and Khaleeji Commercial Bank. Moreover, GFH has created manynotable economic infrastructure projects across the MENA region and beyond.
