SAUDI STOCKS HIT 6-YEAR HIGH;

TADAWUL INDEX TRADES NEAR 10,000 points

?Saudi? Arabia's bourse jumped today after the Capital Market Authority said it would open the stock market to direct investment by foreign financial institutions in the first half of 2015, news agencies reported.

The main ?#?Tadawul? index (TASI) rose 3.2%, its biggest rise since April 2012, to a fresh 6-year high of 10,062 points in the first hour of trade.

It was trading near 9,984 points, up 2.4% by 2.05pm.
