In line with its commitment to promote the competitiveness of Ajman›s real estate segment, the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman has concluded its successful participation at this year›s edition of the Riyadh Real Estate & Urban Development Exhibition 2017 (Restatex Riyadh 2017), the largest annual Real Estate event of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), which was held recently at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.

The pavilion hosted by the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman received a huge turnout from participants and visitors during the event, which was highly lauded for highlighting promising real estate investment opportunities while also providing a glimpse of the emirate›s growth perspectives. Recent reports indicate that total real estate transactions in the emirate exceeded AED733 million during the first quarter of this year, while total investments touched more than AED 680 million during the same period. In addition, the department threw the spotlight on key investment opportunities currently being offered by Ajman while also showcasing the latest and most significant developments and trends in Ajman real estate market. The pavilion also featured a variety of semi-finished and completed real estate projects that are located in freezone ownership areas within the emirate.

Yafea Al Faraj, Director General, Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, said “we recognize that foreign investments and Gulf in particular, are major drivers in revitalizing the local real estate market. It continues to maintain momentum in providing diversified investment opportunities in line with the efforts to shift towards a green economy, which is one of the key goals stated in Ajman Vision 2021. In this context, we are participating in Restatex Riyadh 2017 to showcase the latest emerging trends and viable investment opportunities in Ajman›s real estate segment. In addition, it will allow us to highlight the enormous potentials of Ajman, including its strategic geographic location that connects Ajman with the other emirates; and the advanced infrastructure and favorable investment environment that have secured a large package of the incentives and facilities based on transparency, efficiency and quality in order to ensure an integrated and seamless experience for the investors coming from across the region.”

“The huge interest received by our hosted pavilion shows the continued trust and confidence placed in Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman. Rest assured that we will continue to enhance and improve the local investment system and process which in turn can create more sustainable investment opportunities that can attract more foreign and GCC investments (FDIs) — maximizing contributions to the emirate›s GDP and leading to further comprehensive development,” he added.
