Al Salam Bank-Bahrain, one of the pioneering Shari’a-compliant banks in the kingdom, has launched a special promotion on its range of Visa credit cards, offering customers the opportunity to win valuable cash prizes.

The promotion runs from May 1 to June 30. With every BD 50 ($132) spent, customers will be entitled to a single entry to the draw with cash prizes worth up to 20 times their transaction value.

In addition, customers will continue to enjoy the credit card’s core feature of up to 1 per cent cash back reward on all their spends when using their Visa credit cards. This promotion is open to both Al Salam Bank-Bahrain and BMI Bank existing Visa credit cards holders only.

Abdulkarim Turki – Group head of Retail Banking at Al Salam Bank-Bahrain said: “In line with our commitment to consistently provide our customers with rewarding products and services, I am pleased to announce the launch of our new promotion offering them the opportunity to win valuable cash prizes as well as cash back rewards when they use their Visa credit cards on their daily purchases in Bahrain or abroad.”

“We continuously plan to bring better benefits for our customers through unique products and services. In addition to the current promotion, the bank also offers its credit card customers a range of value added services and benefits,” he added.

To be eligible for the prize draw, customers need to use any of Al Salam Bank-Bahrain or BMI Bank Visa credit cards. The draw will be conducted on July 31 and it will be supervised by representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Tourism along with the internal and external auditors and in accordance with Central Bank of Bahrain and Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Tourism laws.
