The Bahrain Bourse's (BHB) daily trading hours will soon be extended by half-an-hour, taking the duration of the daily trading session to three-and-a-half hours, said a report.
This follows the approval of the proposal by the board during a meeting chaired by Yusuf Abdulla Humood, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
The board discussed the latest developments and viewed the bourse's periodic performance report and those of other GCC capital markets.
It also reviewed progress made on BHB's strategic operating plan. BHB's financial results as of June 30 this year were also approved, the report stated.
The board also reviewed the reports and recommendations from its sub-committees and decided on related actions to be taken.
