Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) held the first workshop about the mechanism of assessing corporate performance with the participation of several major companies in the Kingdom.
The workshop discussed how to apply the latest applicable corporate assessment methods related to performance in light of the Saudi culture.
This leads to enhance the awareness of employees about the importance of performance both on the personal level and company level, and serves as well to promote the performance of the system in general.
In addition, this enhances the engagement between the employees and their company and consequently increase their loyalty toward the company.
Faiez Awadh, chief HR officer at Mobily, said: “The company aims to apply the knowledge-sharing approach with the prestigious Saudi companies to follow their model in implementing the best and most appropriated HR practices match Saudi culture, and we in Mobily pay great attention to our human calibers and keep this topic on top of our priorities. This becomes a solid foundation that helps the company to implement its goals.”
The workshop, described as the first of its kind, brought reputed companies such as Microsoft, National Water Company, Saudi Investment Bank and others in order to enhance methods of corporate performance assessment.
The workshop witnessed as well the review of an important survey where officials from 108 Saudi companies participated in answering questions about how to assess and improve the performance of corporates.
