The Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) achieved this year its highest monthly production of methanol since its inception, which amounted to 1,254 metric tons.

This was revealed by GPIC president Abdulrahman Jawahery during the company's 34th annual celebration held at Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa.

He added the company received several awards and completed 16,611,428 working hours without lost time accident, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

The event was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister's adviser for Industry and Oil Affairs Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa.

Jawahery mentioned the achievements of the company made this year and later honoured employees who worked in the company ranging from five to 30 years.
