Markets cautious in mid session

Trading on Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) is flat on subdued investors’ sentiments on Tuesday.

At 11.55am, DFM was at 1,713.45, up marginally by 7.21 points or 0.42 per cent. All sectoral indices except utilities and banks were pushing the market up. Out of 26 stocks being traded only 10 were trading in the green.

Major gainers include Ekttitab, Arabtec, Takaful Emarat, Shuaa Capital, Drake and Scull International, Emaar, among others.

Range-bound trading is also visible on ADX. At 11.58am, ADX was down marginally by 2.48 points at 2,746.94.

The market seems to be in cautious mode as it waits for direction from global stock indices. Asia-Pacific stocks are showing mixed performance on Tuesday as per the latest data.
