Shares of state-run oil marketing companies were trading lower on fund selling after the international crude prices climbed near $100 per barrel, several dealers said. Brent crude futures climbed near $100 a barrel on Monday and Asian stocks fell, hit by fears of unrest throughout the Middle East sparked by deadly protests in Egypt.
At 9.33 a.m., shares of Indian Oil Corp. , Bharat Petroleum Corp. and Hindustan Petroleum Corp. were down 3-4 percent.
