Qatar Exchange was down 2.04 points or 0.02% to 8,738.70 points on Wednesday the previous closing 8,740.74 points. The volume of shares traded up to 14,831,901 from 10,812,414 on Tuesday, and the value of shares increased to QR621,888,249.53 from QR437,765,156.31 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Nakilat whose share dropped by 5.26% to QR18.00, Al-Khalij Holding lost 3.66% to QR15.27,Vodafone Qatar fell 3.66% to QR29.10 and Qatar Islamic Bank was down 0.88% to QR79.30. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 40.31 points and the Insurance sector added 155.00 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 293.88 points and the Services sector down 40.72 points.
