The Qatar Exchange was down on Monday 54.05 points or 0.64% to 8,340.97 points from the previous closing of 8,395.02 . The volume of shares traded down to 11,018,875 from 14,121,483 on Sunday, and the value of shares fell to QR395,883,988.24 from QR466,226,893.04 Sunday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped by 1.44% to QR137.10, Qatar Islamic Bank fell 2.34% to QR79.20, Barwa down 1.60% to QR33.90 and Electricity and Water 2.29% to QR128.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 77.18 points while the Insurance sector added 30.51 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 8.64 points and the Services sector down 65.16 points.
