The Qatar Exchange on Tuesday was in green area adding 144.26 points or 1.60% to 9,137.89 points from 8,993.63 on Monday. The volume of shares traded rose to 17,731,120 from 7,404,996 Monday and the value of shares was up to QR715,263,556.20 from QR294,865,320.85 on Monday. Top gainers were Rayan which was up 3.09% to QR20.00 ,Qatar Islamic Bank rose 3.02% to QR88.60, Al khalij Commercial Bank gained 2.89% to QR17.80, Qatar National Bank by 2.55% to QR200.80 and Intl. Islamic Bank which was up 2.31% to QR53.10. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector gained 341.98 and the Insurance sector rose 138.70 points. The Qatar industrial sector up 43.22 points and the Services sector was added 18.67 points.
