The Qatar Exchange keep its upward trend sunday,the first day of trading week adding 228.25 points or 2.77% to 8,457.12 points from the previous closing of 8,228.87. The volume of shares traded fell to 20,140,699 from 27,091,241 on Thursday and the value of shares increased to QR704,059,620.76 from QR 632,787,207.43 Thursday. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 3.26% to QR142.50, Industries Qatar by 4.67% to QR139.00, Comm. Bank of Qatar up by 3.47% to QR77.60, Barwa Real Estate by 5.63% to QR33.75 and Qatar Telecom by 6.72% to QR162.00. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector added 348.93 and the Insurance sector rose 326.49 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 43.22 points and the Services sector was up 127.51 points
