Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Tuesday adding 171.63 points or 1.34 percent to advance to 12,939.80 points from 12,768.17 on Monday.
The volume of the shares traded fell to 56,890,638 from 58,454,239 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR1,881,064,463.65 from QR1,718,332,581.17 Monday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar Islamic Bank which was up 4.58 percent to QR89.00, Al khalij Commercial Bank gained 10.00 percent to QR25.85, Vodafone Qatar added 4.22 percent to QR18.75 and Ezdan Holding up by 9.91 percent to QR41.60.
