At the end of January 2015 TADAWUL All Share Index (TASI) closed at a level of 8,878.54 increased 545.24 points 6.54% over the close of the previous month.

On an YTD basis TASI registered a positive increase of 6.54 % (545.24 points). Highest close level for the index during the month was 8,912.50 as on 28/01/2015.

Total equity market capitalization at the end of January 2015 reached SAR 1,918.73 billion (US$ 511.66 billion), increased by 5.84% over the close of the previous month.

The total value of shares traded for the month of January 2015 reached SAR 162.47 billion (US$ 43.33 billion), decreased by (19.98%) over the previous month.

The total number of shares traded* reached 6.74 billion shares during the month of January 2015 compared to 7.74 billion shares traded for the previous month, decreased by (12.87%).

The total number of transactions executed during January 2015 reached 3.07 million compared to 3.82 million trades for the month of December 2014, decreased by (19.80%).
