The Saudi bourse fell for a third day Tuesday, with the first of the earnings results disappointing investors, and Air Arabia dropped to an all-time low in Dubai on a dividend price adjustment.
Almarai Co. shed 1.1 percent after it posted a first-quarter net profit gain of just 0.5 percent.
“Almarai’s numbers disappointed due to pressures from rising raw material prices,” said Amro Halwani, a senior trader at Shuaa Capital in Riyadh.
Saudi Electricity fell 5.3 percent after it went ex-dividend.
Saudi stock benchmark Tadawul All Share Index eased 0.9 percent to 6,548 points.
Elsewhere, Dubai measure slipped 0.7 percent to 1,538 points. Abu Dhabi benchmark fell 0.4 percent to 2,590 points.
Egypt benchmark eased 0.4 percent to 5,470 points. Oman index edged 0.3 percent higher to 6,290 points. Qatar index gained 0.4 percent to 8,496 points.
Kuwait measure climbed 0.04 percent to 6,304 points.
Bahrain index added 0.3 percent to 1,418 points.
