Triggered by lower oil prices, the Saudi Tadawul Index lost 2.35%, closing at 5,467.81 points on Saturday. The price per barrel of oil has been plummeting over 5% to around $65 since Friday due to unauthorised trading in oil futures done by a senior trader at PVM Oil Associates, London, revealed on July 2.
