For two days, thousands of young Saudi men and women filled the corners of Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh where “Talents Market” initiative was hosted, supported by King Salman Youth Center. These young people attended this event to catch the opportunities where they can invest their energies and talents.

The “Talent Market” witnessed a big interaction from the side of the officials of 60 small and medium companies that competed to attract talented young people, by providing more than 750 opportunities in many fields, mainly relying on the talent, creativity and innovation.

This market provided a new concept of how to invest in talent, especially that the Kingdom uses an open economy that enhances the value of creativity and talent investment in all areas.

The “Talents Market” was accompanied with other paths that enhance its value, where eight workshops, and dozens of advisory hours, were held, with 1,500 young men and women volunteers.

Executive manager of King Salman Youth Center Hani El Mogbel, clarified that the “Talents Market” comes within the programs and events supported by the Center in its strategy aimed at achieving the “Saudi Vision 2030”, which depends in a large part on young generation to build an active society, a dynamic economy and an ambitious nation.

El Mogbel pointed out that the initiative seeks to realize the professional ambition of the young generation in a creative way, in addition to strengthening government efforts to support small and medium enterprises.

He also highlighted that the striking presence of the market is a clear indicator to the young generation interest and passion for creativity and serious work to realize their ambitions and raise their country›s position, adding that the competition between small and medium companies to attract them and invest in talented young people reflects the creative level reached by our youth.

More than 2000 young men and women participated in the workshop organized by the “Talents Market” over two days, where they figured out how to benefit from their talent. They also checked out the privilege of working in small and medium companies, the advantages of voluntary work and its value, and each participant got tips to develop his professional story and share it with the others in 30 seconds.

The owners of small and medium projects also attended workshops to learn about the best ways to deal with the staff, to contribute to offer the best they can for the company, in addition to building organizational culture and talents attraction skills, and learning how to motivate and maintain these skills.
