A high-level Gulf Air delegation visited the Batelco headquarters in Hamala to boost ties.
Batelco Bahrain chief executive Rashid Abdulla and consumer division general manager Muna Al Hashimi welcomed the delegation.
The Gulf Air delegation included acting chief executive Maher Salman Al Musallam, acting chief financial officer Sahar Ataei and Information Technology director Dr Jassim Haji.
As part of the visit, Gulf Air senior management members toured Batelco's Customer Experience Centre, a state-of-the-art facility designed and developed around customers' needs, giving them the opportunity to experience the latest innovative products and services offered by Batelco.
The centre features all of Batelco's latest communication and information and communication technology products, services and solutions in one convenient and modern location.
Among the key products and services showcased at the centre are Batelco Network Infrastructure, Data Centre, Unified Communications, Collaboration and Mobility solutions.
Also included are comprehensive Physical and IT Security Solutions, high speed data and Internet connectivity along with relevant management tools. Mr Abdulla said that Batelco and Gulf Air have enjoyed a long-term relationship.
"As Bahrain's leading provider of communications services for the business community, Batelco has been a strong partner of the corporate sector for many years, serving leading establishments such as Gulf Air," he added.
"Gulf Air always endeavours to support and work alongside national organisations, in our role as the kingdom's national carrier," Mr Al Musallam said.
"Our relationship with Batelco has spanned more than 30 years and the long-standing ties between Gulf Air and Batelco are a reflection of our strong and fruitful business partnership.
