Mobile Telecommunications Co. - ZAIN

Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) is a Kuwaiti joint stock company engaged in providing mobile telecommunication services including the operation, purchase, delivery, installation, management and maintenance of mobile telephones and paging systems. MTC provides its services in six Middle Eastern and 14 sub-Saharan countries to over 29.7 million active individual and business customers. The Company operates in Kuwait and Bahrain as MTC-Vodafone, in Jordan as Fastlink, in Iraq as MTC-Atheer, in Lebanon as MTC-Touch, in Sudan as Mobitel and in Africa as Celtel. On March 24, 2007 MTC was awarded the 3rd mobile license in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and expects to start operations in early 2008.
