Ras Al Khaimah Cement PSC (known as: RAK Cement) is a public company, based in Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) and was established in May 1995. RAK Cement is listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange since March 2004. The company is primarily involved in the production and marketing of Portland cement in the country. It operates within the materials sector, focusing on construction materials, powercrete, and clinker. It has one subsidiary operating across UAE, working on building products. The company has been instrumental in providing environmental care and protection to the surrounding community by applying the most stringent standards in dust and gas control within the plant. The company's is connected to a terminal inside the neighboring Saqr Port, having the capacity to load ships up to 40,000 dwt, in a minimum amount of time. Moreover, it is capable of producing 960,000 tons of clinker and 1,000,000 tons of cement annually,in accordance with BS and ASTM standards. The plant is equipped with up-to-date production equipment, which ensureseffectual use of natural gas and electricity, while guaranteeing the highest degree of product quality and consistency.
