It operates within the diversified financials sector, focusing on asset management and custody banks. It is mainly engaged in real estate development and management, fund management, direct investments, and portfolio management. Its real estate activities include developing, investing and managing in real residential properties with a projects portfolio that comprises Al-Khairan Marine Villas and Al-Mahboula residential towers. The firm provides its services to both corporations and individuals. The firm also manages client focused portfolios, mutual funds, and other Islamic funds for its clients. It has 17 subsidiaries operating across Bahrain, the Cayman Islands and Kuwait. Its investment activities fall into three main segments: Portfolio Management, responsible for investing and managing the clients' portfolios in Kuwait stock exchange market; Fund Management, which engages in India Fund and Al-Madina Fund management operations; and Corporate Finance segment, which is engaged in the provision of financial advisory services, underwriting, private placement, valuation, syndication, and listing services.
