National Marine Dredging Company is a public company based in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and was established in January 1976. The company is involved in executing dredging contracts and associated land reclamation works in the territorial waters of the Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, India, and Saudi Arabia. It is also involved in marine construction activities, which include construction of groyne, revetments, breakwaters, and related rock works; gravity quay walls construction; concrete armor protection; retaining and diaphragm walls; boat ramps and slipways; sheet and tubular steel piling works; and marinas and pontoons. It has 7 subsidiaries operating across Southern and Central Asia, and the Middle East. It has a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects and services, along with liaising carefully with shareholders to produce the best possible outcomes for clients, staff, and the environment. Moreover, it engages in drilling and deepening waterways, ports and marine installation works; and the provision of services for fixing water installation for marine facilities and excavation contracts. The company`s fleet includes a range of Cutter Suction Dredgers (CSD); ranging in capacity from the small Beaver dredger Jananah (1,795 KW) to their most dominant automated dredger the Al Sadr (20,725 KW). The company`s projects includes Sir Baniyas Island, Suwa Island, Al Bahr Palace Channel, Mangroves, Mussafah Canal Project and Zakum Project.
