CONSTRUCTION Products Holding Company (CPC) participated in the recently held 23rd edition of the Arab Economic Forum (AEF) as a diamond sponsor. The forum was held in Beirut at the Phoenicia Hotel under the title “The Saeed Khory Story” and inaugurated by the Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam with the participation of several Lebanese and Arab ministers in addition to central banks governors.

CPC participation comes as part of its efforts to be present at international economic forums that contribute in supporting countries’ economies and tapping investment opportunities.

During the 3rd session titled “The Investment Future in the Arab World”, Faysal Alaquil, CPC Director of Business Development & head of “Binaa Wa Amal” a CSR Division, addressed the forum and underlined the urgent need to improve the economic, political and security environment in the Arab countries and at the same time the removal of barriers to Arab or foreign investors in these countries to attract foreign investment, which has become an urgent necessity and a fundamental choice in front of these countries.

He also highlighted the various investments of CPC in Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, UAE, Qatar and Morocco. In addition, he stressed the importance of developing economic and investment feasibility for future project studies in order to ensure its success, with opening the investments for non-Arab investors (European, Russian, Chinese, focusing on investment opportunities in the agricultural field (Sudan), the industrial field (Egypt) and the field of tourism (Tunisia, Morocco), and urban development (United Arab Emirates, Jordan).

Alaquil explained in his The forum, which was organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal group, also gathered hundreds of investment institutions and business leaders from different countries in the region.
